1. What is File Joiner?
File Joiner is a tool that combines (binds) unlimited files (no matter their type) into a single standalone executable (a Container file). The Container (the final bound file) is a compiled program that, when opened, will automatically launch the included files. The joined files can be fully encrypted. Also, you can convert and encrypt all types of files to exe file.
2. What can I use it for?
If you're a software developer, File Joiner helps you to distribute your application as a single portable exe file (a compact package). All the DLLs and other needed libraries can be included in the joined file.
3. Are the joined files detected by antivirus applications?
No, the output file (container) is undetectable when scanned with most used antivirus products (Norton AV, McAfee, Panda, AVG, Avast). If your File Joiner version gets detected by one of the listed AVs within the support period, you'll receive a new undetected Joiner as soon as possible (usually in less than 48 hours).
4. Can I use the Joiner on more computers?
The Personal license is based on one user- one machine. The Corporate license is based on one user- 3 machines. The company license is based on one user- unlimited machines.
5. Is a trial version available for download?
We have a trial version available in the download section. The trial version is fully functional, so you can see exactly how's the software working. The only drawback in the trial version is it displays a pop-up window whenever the joined file is run. Also, the trial version doesn't require to the internet to be used. File Joiner is a shareware application designed for legal usage, but few antivirus products might overreact and detect this type of software because of a theoretical improper use.
File Joiner is a commercial software that should be used in legal ways. We neither endorse nor promote the use of our Joiner for purposes other than which have been expressly stated on our website. All the customers should comply with the terms of the License Agreement.
6. Is File Joiner running on all Windows platforms?
Yes, the Joiner runs on Windows 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11 (32-bit and 64-bit).
7. What file types can be bound (joined)?
File Joiner can bind all file types. It can transform any type of file into an executable without affecting its direct functionality. For instance, if you bind an executable, a text file and an image file, when the Container file is run, the executable will be run too while the other files will be opened with the default image file viewer (IrfanView, Paint etc.) and text file viewer (Notepad, Wordpad etc.).
